CA — Activated carbon filters
The CA filter is used for the filtration of specific chemical contamination in medical, pharmaceutical and electronics applications, to keep concentrations downstream of the filters at an acceptable level.
It also has applications in conventional air handling units, to reduce pollution levels — odours, volatile organic compounds. It allows a significant reduction in energy consumption, since less fresh air has to be treated.
The CA filter offers high chemical resistance, can be refilled, and produces a low pressure drop.
