Overview
Negative-pressure hoods are designed to protect the operator and the immediate environment from airborne contamination, by means of vertical extraction and absolute filtration through G4 and HEPA 99.999% filters.
IV GEL SPACE units in the EX version — for EXHAUST — are particularly recommended for handling powders and harmful or dusty products during weighing or dispensing.
A version with a front visor is available. It adds physical protection against splashes and reduces the intake area, which increases the airflow-to-face-velocity ratio — and therefore capture efficiency at equal airflow.
Not to be confused with the standard IV GEL SPACE, a laminar flow cabinet which protects the product and not the operator. Same chassis, opposite function.
Installation, commissioning and IQ / OQ / PQ qualification are carried out by our own teams. Our service department covers France and Europe.
