Laminar flow hoods, microbiological safety cabinets, modular cleanrooms and fume cupboards — designed and manufactured in Aulnay-sous-Bois, France. The first French company to specialise in laminar flow, ISO 9001 certified and NF 095 labelled. Installation, qualification and maintenance across France and Europe.

ADS Laminaire has designed, manufactured and supplied laminar flow equipment since 1968. A family-owned business of human scale, it was the first French company to specialise in this field.
Our Aulnay-sous-Bois site brings together the engineering department, production, the test laboratory and the service department. Non-standard equipment is designed without subcontracting, and spare parts are held in stock.
Manufacturing in France, three international locations.
A laminar flow hood protects the product being handled, never the operator: air exits at the front and carries anything released towards the face. A Class II cabinet protects both, together with the environment, and complies with EN 12469. Handling a biological agent under laminar flow is a safety error.
ISO 5 class corresponds to the critical handling zone — aseptic filling, cell culture, sterile compounding. ISO 7 and ISO 8 correspond to the surrounding room and airlocks. It is almost always more economical to treat a critical zone to ISO 5 inside an ISO 8 room than to bring the whole room to ISO 6.
It depends on room cleanliness, running hours and the nature of the products handled — there is no fixed interval. Measured clogging determines replacement. Our equipment features automatic ECM control which maintains constant airflow despite clogging, and our periodic testing establishes the true condition of the filter.
That depends on the principle chosen. A ducted fume cupboard requires an exhaust network, a wall penetration and make-up air. A recirculating enclosure with activated carbon runs from a standard power socket, with no building work, but the carbon saturates and must be monitored. For CMR substances or intensive use, ducted extraction is required.
Yes. ADS Laminaire builds any type of equipment within its field that does not appear in the catalogue. Our engineering department designs to drawing, and drawings are supplied for approval before manufacture, which guarantees rapid installation on site.
