Overview
Negative-pressure hoods are designed to protect the operator and the immediate environment from airborne contamination, by means of horizontal extraction and absolute filtration. Air enters at the front and carries particles away from the operator.
POWDERJET units are particularly recommended for handling powders, harmful products and dusty products. Powder weighing is the typical case: the product is light, it lifts at the slightest air movement, and it is precisely the operator leaning over the balance who is exposed.
The full front opening leaves the work chamber accessible, and the stainless steel work surface withstands repeated decontamination. ECM control maintains face velocity within specification despite the progressive clogging of the absolute filter.
Installation, commissioning and IQ / OQ / PQ qualification are carried out by our own teams. Our service department covers France and Europe.
